The leader of Alte movement BOJ OnTheMicrophone comes through with another impressive single titled “EMOTIONS”
Fresh from the runaway success of Abracadabra, Boj returns with more Alte magic on this new single “Emotions“. Produced by Spax (who also worked on Boj’s biggest hit to date, Tungba) and Krizbeatz.
In a rare meeting of top tier talent, Alte pioneer BOJ on Abracadabra drew on two of the biggest African stars on the planet – Mr Eazi and Davido – to lay down a summer jam destined for instant classic status. Boj opened the track by weaving a spell over the object of his affection (hence the ‘Abracadabra’ of the title). Davido then jumped in with an endlessly catchy hook that’s set to shut down dances from Lagos to London, with Mr Eazi coming through to lace the second verse with his inimitably melodic flow. The end result is three artists at the top of their game.
Emotions is Boj showcasing his strongest songwriting yet, with earworm Afro RnB vocal melodies, layered over intricate shuffling rhythms. This is Boj maturing, singing out his soul, and creating a heartbreak classic for a new generation – with a high end video lined up and further European press to follow, Boj is ready to take the Alte crown.
